Additional Math End-Of-Year Holiday Intensive Revision 2023

In this revision, students will strengthen their understanding in discriminant and inequalities instead of just memorising the way of solving a particular type of questions so that they are able to link this concept to other topics.

22 Nov 2023 (Wed)

This revision will expose students to various type of questions on surds so that they can learn the most effective way to work on a surd question. They will also be taught how to do a simple checking on their final answers so that they would be able to check their mistakes if there is a need to do so. Students will get to work on solving Exponential equations to understanding using exponential functions as models. They will also get to learn one method to draw all exponential graphs just in 5 minutes. Finally, this class will clarify doubts on Laws of Logarithm and to build confidence in students so that they are able solve all types of questions on Logarithms. They will also get to learn one method to draw all Logarithmic graphs just in 5 minutes.

By learning how not to memorise but to use a simple tool to always remember the formulas they need in this topic, students will be able to handle this topic with ease. They will also be taught how to do a simple checking on their final answer in Partial Fractions so that they can get perfect score for this type of questions.

By practising on various types of questions on Coordinate Geometry, students will learn to see things from a whole new perspective and enhance their capibility in tackling this topic.

29 Nov 2023 (Wed)

In this revision, students will be exposed to a variety of Circles-related questions that require further critical thinking. This will help them gain more experience & confidence in solving the more challenging questions in exams.

30 Nov 2023 (Thu)

Students will get to refresh on doing the basic expansions and finding the general term to solving the more diffiult type of questions involving the nCr formula. They will also be exposed to various types of questions that require further critical thinking.

5 Dec 2023 (Tue)

In this revision, students will get to revise on transforming from Non-Linear to Linear form. They will also be exposed to questions that require further critical thinking to prepare them well for the O-level examination.

6 Dec 2023 (Wed)

Students will be exposed to the most effective way to draw all trigonometry graphs. This class will also strengthen student's understanding on Identities, Trigonometric Equations and why certain equations require multiple answers. They will also be taught how not to memorise Angle Transformation formulas and to be able to apply those formulas at their fingertips whenever they need it.
